There is a reason...

Caedmon's Call has come out with a new song and really it could not have come at a better point in my life. I was getting ready to leave for Ecuador and it became my theme song... and even more today as I face life challenges that make me want to depend solely on myself. But God being amazing in mercy, loving in grace, and rich in love is revealing to me that it is about Him, and with in that "there is a reason." There is a reason we serve, there is a reason we love, there is a reason we encourage each other, there is a reason we respond to wonder and wondering why, and in that He is preparing for us a place in life, a lesson or in my case haha a few lessons, and that he makes all things good. That although there are times where we feel oppressed we are not, when we feel like we cant stand it may be God calling us to be still. That when we feel like if the bottom falls out one more time we wont be able to get back up... but I am writing to process my prayers recently with the Lord that we have His hand helping us get back up, that he wants nothing more than for us to draw near to him. That its ok to struggle with life, moving, jobs, love, friendships, death, and third world experiences. These struggles produce a holy drive to continue the good fight!

Father Lord, still my heart help me be still before you, listening to your love words or encouragement, understanding conviction. Restore to me the reasons... restore my will to serve you, help me cast all my thoughts, frustrations upon you. Help me serve in ways that are true... Help me give in areas I struggle giving... Lord break me into the women you want me to be! Humble my spirit. This I pray...
